Today, I got henna! Henna is a reddish-orange dye that is made from the leaves of the henna plant. Here is Ahmedabad, it is known as mehndi. One of the ways to use henna is to take it and make decorative designs on both your hands and feet. It typically stays on for about two weeks. I’ll post an updated photo tomorrow.

fee-THIS IS SO COOL! it seems to have worked better then the do-it-yourself henna that i got at michaels!
Ms Tumanes:
It lasts about two weeks. It looked very hard to do, but the girl that put the henna on me was very good and she acted like it was the easiest thing in the world.
Laura:
No, they do the lemon juice or the sugar, but I wish they did! I would love to be baked into a cookie!
Fiona
Wow! How long does that last? Was it hard to do?
fiona–it looks great!! have you scraped off the paste yet? When we did ours, they drizzled us with lemon juice and sugar when the paste first dried. I felt like I was going to be baked into a cookie. I cant wait to see more photos! xoxo L
